I can’t recommend Camp Lobos enough. I first enrolled my Rottweiler, Titan, in Jon’s 6-week obedience program, and the results were so impressive that I came back and signed up for an additional 3-week training program to learn how to properly use the e-collar. How much does training cost, and how long does it take?
The first in-home session is $250. Continued programs range from $1250 to $4400, while the timeline depends on your dog, the behavior, and your goals. You’ll receive a clear recommendation before committing.
What training methods do you use?
We use rewards, clear communication, structure, boundaries, and fair corrections when appropriate. Every approach is matched to the dog and explained before you’re expected to use it.
Will I need to change how I handle my dog?
Most likely. We train your dog, but lasting results require consistent communication and follow-through from you. You don’t need experience—only a willingness to follow the plan.
Can you work with dogs that are reactive, aggressive, or have bitten?
Yes. A bite history does not automatically disqualify your dog, but every incident must be disclosed so we can prepare safely and determine the right training path.

Every obedience program includes a written service agreement outlining your training, support, responsibilities, and any applicable performance guarantee. You’ll review everything before enrolling, so you know exactly what we promise and what is required from you.
